Why a corner cave?

Most aquarium caves dominate the middle of the tank — they look good but eat into swim space and block the front-glass view. A purpose-built corner cave does the opposite: it sits flush against the back-corner glass, hidden in the dead zone most tanks waste, while still giving your fish a full shaded retreat. You get the cave without losing the scape.

The mangrove-style design

Inspired by tropical mangrove roots, this cave uses tall textured pillars and a stone-look finish to add vertical interest that flat caves can't match. Will plecos actually fit?

Yes — the large entrance is sized for adult bristlenose plecos and common plecos up to roughly 15cm body length on the Large size. For larger species, choose the Large.

Does it work for shrimp and kuhli loaches too?

Yes. The textured surface gives shrimp grazing biofilm, the curved tunnel suits kuhli loaches' wriggling movement, and the multiple shaded zones reduce stress for nano fish.

Will it disrupt my aquascape?

No — it's specifically designed to use the dead back-corner space most aquascapers waste. The footprint preserves open swim area and your front-glass view stays clear.

What does "mangrove style" mean?

The pillars and textured finish are designed to evoke tropical mangrove root systems — tall, organic, stone-like. It's a design aesthetic, not a literal driftwood material. Pair with anubias, java fern or natural hardscape for the full effect.

Is it safe for shrimp and breeding tanks?

Will it fit my tank?
